HTML5 Developer
You must possess a stellar technical background (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, iOS, Android) with the proven ability to create secure, scalable, standards compliant solutions. You need to grok everything from Agile development practices to ambient findability. You need to be dynamic, fast working and absolutely reliable, capable of working under tight schedules while treating users with sensitivity and decorum. Good communication skills, attention to detail, patience and a sense of humor are essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management to take awesome visual designs and implement them in flawless code
- Drive yourself and the team to greater and more effective agile practices
- Lend a hand to interaction design tasks as needed
- Engage stakeholders, fellow team members, and other teams for feedback and validation
- Motivation to constantly learn about new tools/techniques
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of directly related, progressively responsible work experience in a professional position for customer-facing website or application development
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, SVG, XML
- Ability to develop and deploy HTML5 on iOS and/or Android
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques (both in file weight and perceived/actual rendering speed)
- Understanding of localization best practices
- Experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of robust quality assurance practices
- Expertise in browser compatibility and accessible design
- Strong testing, debugging, and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work very quickly and accurately with an eye for detail
HTML5 Designer

Marketing/Sales

Marketing & Sales Associate
The Innovation Games® Company is seeking an organized, self-starter to join its team in the Mountain View, CA office. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the marketing and sales associate will play an integral role in driving the startup’s lead-generating activities. The ideal candidate will have the personality, planning ability, talent and flexibility to take direction and embrace tasks/new projects with a ‘can-do’ attitude, seeing them through to completion. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn a broad range of high-tech marketing techniques and best practices.
Communications/PR
- Assist in graphic design and writing of newsletters, product brochures, marketing materials and other documents.
- Tracks and maintains press list. Writes pitches and inquiries to develop media coverage of The Innovation Games® Company’s activities.
- Develops and maintains company style guide.
Email Campaign Management
- Monitor and create bi-weekly reports on campaign results.
- Maintain email lists/opt-outs and permission across email marketing system and CRM system.
- Work with Marketing and Sales to implement and manage email marketing automation program.
Analytics/Reporting
- Monitor, create and distribute weekly reports on company growth using online analytics and tracking tools.
- Update Website with updated user totals weekly.
- Monitor and report on marketing program/campaign results.
Social Media
- Maintain and/or build TIGC social media presence on key social media sites including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Google+, etc.
- Monitor brand development/trends across the web using social media engagement/reporting tools (Hootsuite/Google Alerts/Tweetdeck) and appropriately apply and report that knowledge to Executive staff.
- Assist in developing and implementing social media campaigns to drive awareness and lead development.
Event Marketing
Manage and track promotion/PR for TIGC events and training classes, including partner classes and events. Responsibilities include:
- Posting event/training class listings to appropriate mailing lists, Yahoo!/Google groups, calendars/websites across the Web.
- Social media/Online advertising
- Direct marketing (email campaigns, Word-of-mouth, partner marketing)
Training/Logistics
Manage logistics for training classes and events, including:
- Research and evaluate potential venues based on requirements.
- Completing/responding to RFPs
- Creating and maintaining Event Budgets
- Managing all catering/class supplies/shipping. May include booking and managing travel for Executive staff and partners.
Website Maintenance/Development
- Keeps website calendars, event listings, partner and training pages up-to-date.
- Work with team to design, write, edit, proofread and publish marketing materials such as web pages, blog articles and demonstration videos.
- Posts and updates Instant Play Games on WordPress site and on partner websites/blogs.
Research/Sales Support
- Gather useful and informative research to support sales in the US and abroad
- Proof, edit and work with Marketing and Sales to build proposals.
Administrative/Office Support
- Tracks office/game supplies and orders as needed.
- Develop office procedures to increase efficiency.
- Basic administrative tasks including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and responding to inquiries.
Skills/Position Requirements:
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
